Roles and Responsibilities of Frontend Providers
KaiaFun operates as a decentralized protocol on the Kaia Blockchain. Due to the nature of frontend interfaces, they may be hosted by legal entities (corporations or individuals) that maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. These frontend providers respect applicable laws and regulations while adhering to the Kaia Foundation's decisions and leadership role in the ecosystem.
Content Moderation Approach
While KaiaFun operates as a decentralized protocol, the Frontend Provider reserves the right to moderate content that appears on user-facing interfaces. This includes, but is not limited to:
Blocking access to specific token pages
Hiding token images and descriptions
Replacing inappropriate content with default images
It's important to note that due to the decentralized nature of the platform, tokens may still be traded or interacted with through KaiaFun's smart contracts. However, since token images (logos) and descriptions operate off-chain according to ERC20 standards, their display cannot be guaranteed. The Frontend Provider will facilitate basic interactions within appropriate boundaries.
Prohibited Content
The following content categories may be subject to removal (not limited to):
Adult or pornographic content (including but not limited to: excessive nudity, sexually explicit content, adult-oriented material)
Content involving minors in any capacity
Materials promoting terrorism or extremism
Content that violates applicable laws and regulations
Any materials that could pose legal risks or violate community standards
The Frontend Provider maintains sole discretion in determining what content falls within these categories and may remove additional content types not explicitly listed above.
